I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Diane Meglino; I am the Director of Tourism and Group Sales here at The Moshulu Restaurant. The Moshulu is a Majestic Four Diamond 107 year old Clipper Sailing Ship which has been turned into a stationary restaurant at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. I am happy to announce that we have just completed a New Lunch and Dinner Menu Package which we are marketing to the Tour and Travel Industry and senior and church groups. We have several private rooms for parties from as little as 15 to 400 guests.

The Moshulu's private dining rooms are a visual feast - polished mahogany, etched glass, hand-painted murals and stylish South Seas accents. The panoramic views of the Philadelphia waterfront and skyline are simply dazzling. Glorious Views of the Ben Franklin Bridge, Adventure Aquarium, The Battleship New Jersey, Campbell's Field, home of the Camden River Sharks, Penn's Landing and the Philadelphia Skyline. Nationally known food critic John Mariani wrote about the ship . . . "When Marty Grims took it over and wholly refurbished the ship, he also took on a superb chef, Ralph Fernandez, whose expertise makes this one of those rare attractions where the food and the atmosphere co-mingle seamlessly." The ship has been featured in Bon Appetit and Nation's Restaurant News and was named one of the Top 15 Restaurants in Northeast America in Arrive Magazine. When Philadelphia Inquirer food critic Craig LaBan reviewed the ship, he said it is . . . "a rare harmony of first class food and service with stunning views and ambience." We were selected by Citysearch.com as having the best views in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Magazine awarded our Executive Chef and Pastry Chef with the "Best Entrée and Best Dessert" award for 2010 and 2011. The Moshulu has also been awarded the AAA prestigious Four Diamonds Award eight years in a row.
