Philadelphia, PA (November 14, 2006) – New Year’s Eve at the Moshulu is always a night to remember! This year’s holiday festivities at the Moshulu include a four-course meal prepared by the ship’s award-winning culinary team including Executive Chef/Partner Ralph Fernandez, Executive Sous Chef Adam DeLosso and Executive Pastry Chef Ernie Rich. With the best view in the city, there is no better location to view the midnight fireworks on the Delaware River. Dancing and entertainment on the enclosed-deck top the festivities with live music by “The Pharmers.”
There are two seatings for this New Year’s Eve celebration: 5 to 7 p.m. at $90/person and from 7:15 to 10 p.m. at $125/person. Guests can enjoy a four-course meal with 10 entrees to choose from. The party on the deck begins at 9 p.m., which will feature live music by local rock band “The Pharmers”, and dancing until 1 a.m. At midnight, guests will be treated to a breathtaking view of the Penn’s Landing fireworks display.
Named one of the Top 15 restaurants in Northeast America by noted food critic John Mariani, the Moshulu is honored to have received several awards recently. These include the AAA Four Diamond Award ® in 2005 and 2006, the Best Dish of the Year 2005 at Philadelphia Magazine’s Philly Cooks event and the Wine Spectator Magazine Award of Excellence—the Moshulu has been recognized for its beautifully unique setting, outstanding food and service. The culinary team is Executive Chef Ralph Fernandez, Executive Sous Chef Adam DeLosso, and Executive Pastry Chef Ernie Rich.
The Moshulu is open daily for lunch, Sunday buffet brunch, and dinner. The ship is permanently docked in Philadelphia on the Penn’s Landing Marina at 401 S. Columbus Boulevard (between Lombard and Pine Streets). Parking is available adjacent to the ship in parking lots provided by Penn’s Landing. Private parties are available on the deck (heated in colder months) in one of the indoor private rooms or on the entire premises.
